Nepali Community Organization Leadership
The upcoming Nepali Community Organization Leadership Meeting will be held on November 26, 2006 at 2 PM. The meeting will be at the Himalayan Yak Restaurant in Jackson Heights, New York.
Please note that the current President and Chair of the Board or Trustees for each of the local Nepali community organization are invited to the meeting. Please assure that the leaders of your organizations are aware of this event and plan to attend.
If you do not have a Trustee/Board Chair, please decide who may attend the meeting. Also, if you know of another organization that we have failed to contact, please kindly invite them and just send us their contact information. The Nepali Community Leadership meeting is for all leaders of established local organizations and no one should be left out.
Please send the two names for your organization who will attend by the day before the meeting.
The meeting is expected to last three to four hours and plan to start promptly. There are many issues to discuss: Nepali passport issues, immigration issues and updates, not-for-profit organization compliance issues, the Nepal Center, Nepal Day, and much more. Please be sure to send any items you would like added to the agenda so we can be sure to cover everything.
